Recruitment

Participant recruitment for the ENCHANTED study began in March 2012. Approximately 150 centres from around the world are expected to participate. Interest to participate in the trial has been received from centres in Australia, Europe, China, South America, South East Asia, Korea, Taiwan and India. Trial recruitment for the rtPA arm of ENCHANTED study was completed in August 2015, and the BP arm of the study was completed on April 30, 2018.

As of 30th April 2018, recruitment for the ENCHANTED study has concluded worldwide with 4587 participants. (rtPA arm – 3310, Blood Pressure arm – 2227).
